Sam 460cr und RX 560 4GB

Hallo,
nachdem jetzt viel über den X1000 berichtet wurde wollte ich jetzt mal schauen wer den sam 460cr mit RX 560 oder höher
betreibt.Installiert ist das neuste Enhancer 2.2.

Also Emotion spielt die Videos von Aquaman aus dem amigans treath alle soweit gut ab.Weiss nur nicht welches Tool er nimmt für die CPU Messung.Wie läufts bei Euch?

In Sachen Games,mal Night of Zombies ausprobiert es lädt danach springt der Lüfter an ander rx 560 und nix passiert.PowerPrefs natürlich auf High gestellt.Geht es bei Euch?Netzteil hat 420 Watt vielleicht liegts daran.

Rebourn of Castle Wolfenstein bleibt ebenfalls hängen wenn es die ui_hd_amigaos4_ppc.so lädt.Return of Castle und dei MiniGL Variante läuft auch.Habt Ihr auch einige Probleme bei den Games oder anderen?

Installiert sind die minigl und mglut für Polaris Karten.

Me running RadeonRX on 460cr. I even made a big video with how to set this up, with Emotion running, etc,etc:



Night of the Zombies also works on, through not as fast as on X5000 of course.

You need to be sure that you have correctly install latest Warp3DNova + Ogles2 + RadeonRX.

And try from simple warp3dnova/ogles2 stuff first, for example try to run examples from Irrlicht Engine: http://os4depot.net/share/development/l ... rlicht.lha

Then try to run Prototype: http://os4depot.net/share/game/shmup/prototype.lha

If those works, it mean warp3dnova/ogles2/radeonrx correctly installed, if not, then need to check what wrong

thx for answer.nice video.Emotion run very good.I have the latest Libs from Warp3dNova,Ogles2 and RadeonRX installed from 2.2.Irrticht and Prototype in Game 40fps run fine.Zombies run under my RadeonHD GFX fine and under RX the game crashes as soon as the fan from the GFX starts. The RX has extra power from the 6-pin connector. I'm not
sure if my 420W power supply is sufficient. I just want to exchange ideas with people who also have problems.

ne frage in die runde,
hat wer auch Probleme bei der Config mit Games.Irgentwann kommt ja die Novabridge Software dann kann man auch alte
Warp3D games spielen.Jetzt momentan stürzt ab Quake2HD,Reborn of Castle Wolfenstein,Zombies,Supertuxkart von Sourceforge.Mal guckn was ich sonst noch finde.Doom3 läuft.

ich kann dazu nur sagen, das der neuste RadeonRX treiber (2.11) bei meiner sam460ex mit rx550 probleme bei nova-spielen macht. die version 2.8 läuft super. keine ahnung, ob diese info dir hilft.

Ja mit der 2.8 laufen auch mehr games.Welche gehen bei Dir nicht mit dem neusten Enhancer?

ich habe alle libs von enhancer 2.2 übernommen, nur eben nicht den treiber. habe nichts so viele spiele, aber die laufen damit eigentlich alle...
werde aber mal die tage testen...

I should add i not test the very latest RadeonRX on my Sam460cr, and there were reports that latest one keep bugging on sam460. As i know, there were some issues with GART support on gfx cards on Sam460, and it was disabled. After that i didn't test things on sam460, so very possible that can be your issue. I for myself mostly concetrated on x5000 tests, so very possible you need to rollback RadeonRX driver for time being until things fixed and released through updater,etc.

And btw, if your card have more power connector you should use all of them of course (if i correclty understand from google-translate what you say:) )

So noch paar Sachen probiert mit der rx 560 wie Scumm läuft prima auch mit Shadering z.b. MystIII,Art of Murder,The longest Journey.Auch der Jedi Port läuft flott nachdem ich in der user-startup PowerPrefs mit dem Befehl:run >nil: *>Nil: System:Prefs/Power QUIET,eingetragen habe.Weiss nur nicht wo man einstellt das FPS auf den Screen zu sehen ist.

Hat jemand schon ander Sachen getestet wie die neuen Scumm Spiele wie Sanitarium,Hades Challenge,
Marvel Comics Spider-Man: The Sinister Six usw.Wo gibts bei euch noch so Probleme?
